The Law & Other Things is a blog I created to have a forum where I could express what it’s like being a Latin law student in Boston. I love food, fashion, networking/socializing (depending on how you see it) and I firmly believe in the phrase “work hard, play hard.” Now, by play hard I don’t mean getting trashed every night. Yes I’m young (I went straight from college to law school), but I also think it’s important to remember that our futures are based on a Google Search of us. That doesn’t mean you have to hide who you are or what you like to do, but be smart!
That’s why this blog intends to help you, fellow Generation Y friends, by providing you my story on how I plan to succeed in law school. NOW, that doesn’t mean this blog can’t be fun does it?!? Not to toot my own horn, but I’m a pretty fun gal! I’m involved in Student Government, LALSA & APALSA…which for you non-law students, is the Latin-American/Asian-Pacific-American Law Students Association.
I love planning events and exploring Boston! I’m also avid photographer so whatever I can’t express in words (which is a shock to most people who meet me), I express through my photos!
